Air Serbia is the proud successor of the first national airline Aeroput, established in 1927. It operates under the current name since 26 October 2013. The company plays a key role in the development of aviation in Serbia, and the Serbian travel and tourism industry. Air Serbia serves over 80 destinations in scheduled and charter traffic in Europe, the Mediterranean, North America, Asia, and Africa. Its current fleet consists of wide-body aircraft Airbus A330-200s, narrow-body aircraft from the Airbus A320 family, and turboprop ATR 72-600 aircraft for regional flights.
