The current Aldesa was created in 1969 through the acquisition of the company AuExcavaciones Santamar=aAu. The company subsequently located its headquarters in Madrid and began to expand its stock of machinery, thus enabling it to begin to work on public sector projects. At the end of 1991, the directors of the company changed and as a result of new professionals joining the companyAos management, Aldesa developed into a construction company at the national level. Through its new management team, the company was able to contact local and Autonomous Community administrative bodies, and in three years the companyAos production increased by 80%. In 1995 Aldesa opens to private clients, which allows it to increase its turnover every year. Since then it has consolidated its growth achieving to remain in the group of ten largest construction groups in Spain. In recent years has bet heavily on international expansion in countries with development potential in order to execute unique projects comprehensively, taking advantage of the synergies generated by the subsidiaries of Grupo Aldesa.
