This is an Asian-American owned National Bank with full FDIC insurance coverage, located in Houston, Texas. The bank was formed by 6 organizers in August 1997 and opened for business on May 18, 1998. The main facility is located at 9999 Bellaire Blvd., near the southeast corner of the intersection on Beltway 8 and Bellaire Blvd. in Houston. This site was chosen because of its proximity to the highly concentrated Asian-American community located along the Bellaire Blvd. corridor. The current facility is located in a 12-story building. The Bank owns 6 floors and currently occupies the Ground, 1st, 2nd & 12th floors. Since the acquisition of FIB (former First International Bank) on September 30, 2011, besides the corporate office, there are 4 more branches in the Houston area, including the First Colony branch, Harwin branch, Spring branch, and Katy branch. In the Dallas area, the Bank has 7 branches including the Richardson branch, Harry-Hines branch, Legacy branch, Plano East branch, Carrollton branch, Garland branch, and Arlington branch. In the Nevada area, the Bank has 3 branches including the Las Vegas branch, the Pahrump branch, and the Amargosa Valley branch. We are planning on expanding to the New Orleans area soon.
