Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, a scheduled bank, sponsored by State Bank of India in collaboration with Government of India and Government of Arunachal Pradesh was established on 30th November 1983 under Regional Rural Bank Act,1976 with its Head Office at Pasighat, East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh. The bank had shifted its Head Office from Pasighat to Naharlagun vide GOI order N.F-7(3)/2004-RRB dated 2nd August 2004 and the area of operation of the bank has since been expanded from six districts of Arunachal Pradesh to entire state of Arunachal Pradesh.
