El Banco del Pueblo Soberano, is a body responsible for combating poverty by providing access to financial and non-financial services, quickly and promptly to the popular power through organized communities, family businesses, individuals, the cooperatives and any other forms of community association for work or have to develop initiatives to develop economic activity, in order to integrate them into the creation of a new economic model, based on the principles of participation, social justice, democracy, efficiency , productivity and, of course, socialism.
