Grupo Santander (Spain), one of the largest banking groups in the Eurozone, owns a controlling stake of about 89% in Banesto. Banesto offers a wide variety of products and services to corporate and individual customers, including deposits and savings, private banking, investment banking, credit and loans, and financing for real estate and small businesses. The company also provides international wholesale banking services.
