Chilean retail bank Banco Falabella, a subsidiary of the cuontry's largest retailer Falabella, focuses mainly on the consumer loan segment. The bank also offers mortgage loans and time deposits, among other products. It has 250,000 customers and 70,000 checking accounts. The lender, the first local company to obtain a felony prevention certification, is credited in prevention and early detection of money laundering, bribery and terrorism funding. Banco Falabella was founded in 1998 and is based in Santiago, Chile.
