Banco Internacional de Costa Rica, S. A. Ai Miami Agency (Au BICSA MiamiAu) was established in 1983 as an Agency of Banco Internacional de Costa Rica, S. A. Panama (Au BICSA PanamaAu). BICSAAos shareholders are Banco de Costa Rica with 51% and Banco Nacional de Costa Rica with 49% of the shares. They provide important support to BICSAAos operation and their assets total more than US$4.0 billion. BICSA Miami operates in Florida under an international banking license granted by the State of Florida and The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Therefore, the bank is subject to the regulations of State and Federal Agencies.
