BTMU has been in Chile for more than 30 years, beginning with a representative office in 1978 established by the former Bank of Tokyo that became a full branch in 1981. We are the only Asian bank offering full banking services in Chile (as of November 2012). The 47 staff members of our Santiago Branch support corporate customers who need high-quality banking services. Investment in Chile persists at a high level.
