Open Joint Stock Company "Bank Veles" is a universal banking institution that operates financial market of Ukraine since 1994 in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. Open Joint Stock Company "Bank Veles" is the successor of Joint Stock Company "Bank Veles", which is registered by the National Bank of Ukraine on July 16, 1999 (registration number 239) and was created as a public corporation by changing the name of joint-stock bank "Motherland", which is registered by the National Bank of Ukraine on April 16, 1997 (registration number 239) and was created as an open joint stock company through reorganization of joint-stock bank service Chornobyl "Motherland", which in turn was incorporated as a private limited company founders, shareholders by changing the name of Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Korn", created as a closed joint stock company and registered with the National Bank of Ukraine March 18, 1994 (registration number 239).
