BICE Chileconsult is the Corporate Finance unit BICE Inversiones. BICE born in 1979 Chileconsult product of the partnership between Banco BICE, the English Bank Investment Limited NM Rothschild & Sons (Rothschild) and Bank of Commerce and Industry of Sao Paulo (Comind) , becoming the first investment bank to be established in Chile. Later in 1983, Comind sells stake to the remaining partners, which is owned by BICE Chileconsult distributed by 51% and 49% Matte Group Rothschild. In February 2009, the Matte Group, through BICECORP bought 49% of that Rothschild had Chileconsult BICE, becoming 100% owned by BICECORP. From this change of ownership, BICE Chileconsult was built under the scheme BICE Inversiones as a unit of additional business, providing services of corporate finance has usually developed in the past, in order to achieve synergies of operation through exchange of information, optimal use of organizational resources and attention from institutional clients and large companies.
