Founded in 2003, Central Securities Deposit CEVALDOM, SA plays an important role in the market values AaAaof the Dominican Republic. It is the only entity authorized to offer the services of central securities depository in the country, facilitating securities transactions in a security framework and transparency. In this sense, CEVALDOM custody records and traded on the stock market of the Dominican Republic, including those issued by the Dominican State and clears and settles transactions with such securities. The latter function is exercised by CEVALDOM in its capacity as Administrator of Securities Settlement System under the Dominican Payments System. The services offered by Central Securities Deposit CEVALDOM, SA are provided in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 19-00 on the stock market, its implementing regulations and other applicable supplementary regulations, issued by the National Securities and the Securities. In addition, the trade settlement services are provided in accordance with the provisions issued by the Monetary Board and the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic on the System of Payments and Securities Settlement. In this sense, the services offered by Central Securities Deposit CEVALDOM, SA are regulated and supervised by the Securities as well as by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.
