CrossRoads was founded in 1950 by a group of Portland Forge employees who decided to band together in an effort to meet their financial needs. These foresighted individuals liked the idea of having Portland Forge Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit, financial cooperative that would be built on a philosophy of people helping people.
