It was 1962 when a few Dedham police officers, firefighters and school teachers determined there was a void to be filled... the need for a Credit Union. Dedham employees, Leo Fitzhenry, George Merino, Louis DeMartino, William Hasenfuss, Alexander George, Andrew Galvin, Francis OAoBrien, Joseph Nagle and Joseph Reiss got to work and were rewarded when the Dedham Town Employees Federal Credit Union was incorporated, June 25, 1962.
