For more than two centuries the Hottinger family has been a reference in European banking and finance. Originating in Zurich, the family gave birth to a dynasty of well-known bankers and has played a role in EuropeAos political and economic history. It did so first by exercising management and advisory activities in France and Switzerland, then far beyond that, thanks to its experience on international financial markets. Today, Hottinger family members remain majority shareholders in Bank Hottinger & Cie Ltd., which was founded in 1786.
