In 1953 Omar Camargo Amorim was named Broker Journal of Public Funds in official act, the Governor of the State at that time, Benedict Muoz Rocha Neto. Some years later, Omar became leader and adviser of the Stock Exchange of Paran and set up an office, where he realized foreign exchange, gold and policies of government bonds. In 1960, Ingeborg Sippel Camargo took over the office and became the first woman to serve on the Brazilian Stock Exchange. The Omar Camargo Investments is the largest brokerage firm in the state and has a Code of Ethics to conduct the attitudes of all the professionals who maintain a relationship with the company.
