Since its establishment in 2006 and based on its pivotal role, Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has been working on enhancing railway transportation in the Kingdom to write a success story with an ambitious vision of a sustainable transportation system for one of the largest infrastructure projects in the Kingdom. SAR provides an integrated set of transportation options for passengers and cargo freight to several local destinations in the Kingdom, through its networks: the East Network, the North Network, Haramain High-Speed Railway, and the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro line.
